A second notice has been placed in the Glen Rose Reporter dated Jan 14, 2009 that the permit is advancing through the TCEQ process.  This is a long process and we are just at the beggining, so we all need to be patient and understand there is a process by which all of this takes place.

There will be a Town Hall meeting on Feb. 11th at 6:30pm to discuss what is currently happening and the next steps.  Watch the papers for the Town Hall meeting notice and plan on attending if possible.

The Chalk Mountain Foundation has been formed and we have retained a noted environmental attorney to help us save Chalk Mountain from Brown County’s Slick Machine.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the Town Hall meeting on February 11th.  For those who cannot attend watch this space on February 12th concerning the meeting and what you need to do to do your part in Saving Chalk Mountain.
